Gas tank - Gaslow system

From my first camper, the "Mr.Percy" Peugeot Expert, I did have a Gaslow refillable gas tank system which I had bought and installed in 2012. Upon selling the vehicle I had removed it.

Now was the time to set it up here.

First a good place needed to be found: next to the bathtub in the bathroom. This would also be the place for the Diesel tank of the heater.

Then holes in the floor needed to be drilled, so that gas that would escape from the bottle or the pipes would not accumulate but would flow out. Here for the first time I did drill through the floor: is 2cm thick plywood. Easy to drill, good for attaching things with wood screws, stable. But also probably highly flammable.

Then I needed to trill a round hole in the wall for the gas inlet. I needed a 70mm, but only had a 60mm and a 72 mm circular drill. I decided for the larger one.

Still need to build a tight and sealed enclosure for the gas tank inside - to avoid gas leaking out into the living compartment.
